Dar es Salaam. Precision Air has entered into a partnership with the Institute of Directors in Tanzania (IoDT) to improve the skills of its employees and enhance leadership capabilities across the organization.
This initiative, announced on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, aims to enhance customer service and operational efficiency within the airline.
During the signing ceremony, the Precision Air’s Managing Director, Mr Patrick Mwanri, expressed optimism about the collaboration.
“I am optimistic that this training will yield positive results for our employees and improve our services,” he stated.
The training will focus on various areas, including supervisory skills, protocols, and e-tickets, equipping employees with the necessary tools to excel in their roles.
“With this partnership, Precision Air aims to position itself as a competitive player in the aviation market, ensuring that its workforce is equipped with the necessary skills to meet the demands of the industry,” underscored Mr Mwanri.
Mr Said Kambi, the Chief Executive Officer of the IoDT emphasized the importance of leadership training, noting that while employees are often taught their specific areas of expertise, they are rarely prepared for leadership roles.
“We are here to fill that gap,” he said.
The program aims to equip staff with essential leadership and management skills, contributing to better organizational governance.
Mr Kambi further highlighted that strong business management is crucial for economic development.
“This partnership will promote good governance and enhance the leadership skills of the company in the aviation sector,” he noted.
The collaboration is expected to benefit not only Precision Air but also the aviation sector in Tanzania as a whole.
By improving employee skills and streamlining business operations, Tanzania is set to gain from the growth of the aviation industry, a vital component of economic and social development.
