TANTRADE launches ‘Made in Tanzania’ Logo design competition

Dar es Salaam. The Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TANTRADE) has organized a competition to design a “Made in Tanzania” logo, which will serve as the emblem for products and services made in Tanzania.

This logo, which is part of the National Symbol program, aims to be a national sign that unites and represents the quality and uniqueness of Tanzanian products and services in both national and international markets.

Speaking on Wednesday (November 20) about the competition in Dar es Salaam, TANTRADE’s Director General, Ms Latifa Khamis, said the goal of the competition is to increase awareness of Tanzanian products.

“The logo will help strengthen the competitiveness of Tanzanian products and services and attract investors, while reflecting the power of the country’s industries and talents,” Ms Khamis explained.

She further clarified that despite the significant achievements in the country’s industrial sector, there has been a lack of a national symbol representing the quality of products and services produced in Tanzania.
