NHC hands over new office building to ministry of Finance in Dodoma

The building, which features high-quality office amenities designed to meet the needs of modern institutions, is part of a broader vision by the government to promote efficient service delivery through well-planned urban development in government-designated cities

Dodoma. The National Housing Corporation (NHC) has officially handed over a newly constructed state-of-the-art office building to the ministry of Finance in the Government City of Mtumba, Dodoma, marking another milestone in the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen public service infrastructure.

The building, which features high-quality office amenities designed to meet the needs of modern institutions, is part of a broader vision by the government to promote efficient service delivery through well-planned urban development in government-designated cities.

NHC served as the consultant on the project, playing a key role in reviewing architectural drawings and overseeing the implementation of construction works to ensure they adhered to agreed standards of quality, timeline, and cost.

The actual construction was executed by Estim Construction Limited, which was contracted as the main builder.

With the physical structure now complete, arrangements are underway to move in office furniture and equipment, signalling the building’s readiness for occupancy.

Ministry of Finance staff are expected to begin operating from the new premises in the near future.

In addition to the office block, NHC is in the final stages of completing a modern conference hall adjacent to the ministry building.

Once completed, the facility will have the capacity to accommodate up to 380 participants and is envisioned to serve as a venue for major national meetings, workshops, and conferences.

The project underscores the National Housing Corporation’s growing credibility and capacity not only as a builder but also as a reliable consultant for strategic government infrastructure projects.

NHC regards its involvement in this initiative as part of its commitment to supporting the Sixth-Phase Government’s agenda of bolstering public service infrastructure and enhancing institutional functionality in newly established government cities.
