Dar es Salaam. President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is expected to arrive in Tanzania on Saturday, July 18, 2026 for a State Visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, expanding economic cooperation and promoting investment between the two countries.
The visit follows an invitation from President Samia Suluhu Hassan and marks another step in the growing strategic partnership between Tanzania and Egypt.
According to a statement issued yesterday by the Government Communication Unit, President El-Sisi will be officially received at the State House in Dar es Salaam before holding bilateral talks with his Tanzanian counterpart.
The discussions will focus on a broad range of issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on strengthening bilateral cooperation, expanding economic partnerships and identifying new areas for collaboration.
Following the talks, the two Heads of State will jointly address a press conference to brief the media on the outcomes of their discussions and reaffirm their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding relations between Tanzania and Egypt.
The visit will also feature the Tanzania-Egypt Business Forum, which will be officiated by Presidents Samia and El-Sisi.
The forum is expected to bring together business leaders, investors, private sector representatives and senior government officials from both countries.
The gathering will explore new investment opportunities, strengthen commercial partnerships and advance economic cooperation to promote shared growth, prosperity and sustainable development.
The State Visit reflects the commitment of both leaders to deepening their strategic partnership through economic diplomacy while preserving the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Tanzania and Egypt for the mutual benefit of their people.
