This annual event brings together the ministry of Energy and its various institutions to showcase the sector’s latest developments.

Organisers intend for the week to provide both theoretical and practical education to Members of Parliament and the general public.

Visitors to the exhibitions can explore numerous investment opportunities within the energy sector.

Experts are on hand to demonstrate the conversion of motor vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas systems.

Furthermore, attendees can witness practical demonstrations of clean cooking energy technologies.

These displays highlight the progress of ongoing energy projects across the nation.

The minister for Energy, Deogratus Ndejembi, toured the exhibition booths alongside Permanent Secretary, Felchesmi Mramba.

During his visit, the Mr Ndejembi encouraged Members of Parliament to engage directly with energy specialists.

He noted that such interactions provide a deeper understanding of current project implementations.

Mr Ndejembi emphasised that the event showcases the significant achievements of the government under President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Innovation takes centre stage this year with a focus on modern cooking solutions.

The exhibition features electric stoves, alternative fuel burners, and specialised gas grills.

One notable highlight is a unique electric stove specifically designed for visually impaired users.

This underscores the ministry’s commitment to inclusive technology and sustainable energy practices.

Key participating institutions include the Tanzania Electric Supply Company and the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation.

They are joined by the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority and the Rural Energy Agency.

Other participants include the Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority and the Petroleum Bulk Procurement Agency.

These organisations are using the platform to gather public feedback and improve service delivery.
