Dar es Salaam. The Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) has successfully concluded a three-day training programme for its officers on the use of its new digital platform, the Tanzania Chamber Portal (TCP).
The training was made possible through the principal sponsorship of TradeMark Africa.
The programme, which brought together officials from the TCCIA Headquarters, Dar es Salaam Region and its districts, culminated in an official closing ceremony presided over by the TCCIA Vice President for Industry, Mr Abdul Mwilima.
The event underscored the vital role of information and communication technology (ICT) in driving institutional efficiency and transparency.
In his remarks, Mr Mwilima expressed gratitude to TradeMark Africa for its support in making the training possible, describing the sponsorship as instrumental in laying the groundwork for TCCIA’s digital transformation.
“This system serves as a bridge to greater efficiency, enhanced transparency and faster communication with our members. We sincerely thank TradeMark Africa for believing in this vision and helping to make it a reality,” said Mr Mwilima.
The training is part of TCCIA’s broader strategy to strengthen its internal capacity and improve service delivery through modern technology.
With the introduction of the TCP system, the chamber aims to boost operational productivity, enhance engagement with stakeholders and contribute meaningfully to national economic growth through commerce, industry and agriculture.
